In «Terima Kos» (Room Exit) by the 35-year-old Indonesian choreographer Jecko Siompo, the difference between tradition and today’s world is dissolved in a superbly funny way. To a sophisticated background of natural, urban and technological sounds, ten dancers perform a unique mix of West Papuan, hip hop and kung fu moves. «Terima Kos» takes the audience on a breath-taking comic-like trip through the urban jungle of Jakarta.
