Tokyo-Shibuya: Techno, Hakase, Soft and Future Girl meet in Tokyo’s hipand noisy entertainment district. They are young people looking for loveand fun. They offer sex and dream of a future. «My name is I love you» isa glitzy metropolitan love story whose characters could have jumped outof a Manga magazine. 28-year old director Chiharu Shinoda delivers acolorfulstudy of everyday life in the urban jungle and love in the high-techera. The young theatre collective Faifai (quick, quick), founded in 2004,has quickly claimed its place in Tokyo’s buzzing avant-garde scene withits experimental and somewhat ironic productions. (ron)
