Do you go for the «before» and «after» pictures that you find in magazines? New York actor and musician Zachary Oberzan presents a sophisticated collage of live performance, home videos and Hollywood film footage to tell the story of two people, whose lives have turned out very differently: himself and his older brother Gator. As kids they used to make home videos parodying scenes from karate films. Twenty years later, they return to their hometown to re-enact them. But behind the ostensible humour of this original solo piece lurks the existential question: why do we become who we are? (esc)
