The Thai choreographer Pichet Klunchun is an accomplished master of the traditional Khon dance and skilfully interrelates this ancient dance style with contemporary choreography. In «Nijinsky Siam», an «autobiographical shadow dance theatre», he follows the footsteps of the legendary dance maverick Vaslav Nijinsky, thereby creating a truly extraordinary encounter between Asian and European dance cultures.
